So I am currently confined to bed and/or a chair with a broken ankle, so a lot of my health and fitness posts have been put on hold for the time being!
In the meantime it has given me plenty of opportunities to practice and experiment with nail art and I developed a pretty cool combination that was inspired by the Tiffany colours and lets be honest their sparkly sparkly bling!
What Did I use
The joy of this is that the nail varnishes are actually really cheap. The “Tiffany” colour is actually Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel – Sea Breeze which you can get delivered for under a fiver!
The extra “Bling” on my thumb and little finger that make things extra sparkly is: Maybelline Color Show 337 Black Magic Nail Polish 7ml and you can use as much or as little as you like! I like to do a gradient and dab more on the top and fade it to the bottom but I have far too much time on my hands currently!
Lastly, I decided to throw in something to mix it up a little! Maybelline Color Show 443 Suit Sensibility that I got as a gift (but I did a little research and you can get it from Boots – easy peasy!). I used this on my middle finger (if I flip anyone the bird it’s going to be extra special!) and what you can’t really see from the images is that is has a raised effect which makes the whole look more dynamic and interesting!
The final result…
As you can see it’s really not that difficult and it is much cheaper than the alternative too which makes it a frugal way to transition from day to night and back again with a bit of sparkle in your life!
